The National Institute of Science and Technology of Timor-Leste hereby announces the Call for INCT 2022 Scientific Research Project Funding Round. In total, twenty-three (23) Research Proposals (Studies) were developed for the public, in the most varied areas of knowledge, which are available in this document for consultation. Those who are interested are advised to read this reannouncement in full, the Research Lines and Research Proposals INCT 2022 (ANNEX I) and the respective instructions and examples of completion through the INCT 2022 Filling in Guide of the Research Proposal (ANNEX II), before completing the Model of Research Proposal (ANNEX III). Through a public call for scientific research proposals, the INCT is committed to stimulating the advancement of scientific and technological knowledge in Timor-Leste in all fields and areas of knowledge, in order to promote the improvement and well-being of the Timorese population.
Recipients of the INCT 2022 Scientific Research Funds
Timorese professors, researchers and specialists in the respective scientific areas, of Timorese nationality, preferably associated with universities, faculties, higher education institutions, research centers, science and technology departments, state institutions of a scientific nature or companies linked to I&T in Timor-Leste may apply for these scientific research projects. Preference will be given to teams from higher education research centers, with links to universities and knowledge centers, companies/industry and/or NGOs.

- It is necessary to consult the document of the Research Lines and Research Proposals INCT 2022 (ANNEX I) and select a study proposal and the respective study reference.
- Fill in the Model of Research Proposal (ANNEX III), according to the instructions that are in the Filling in Guide of the Research Proposal (Annex II).
- Gather the required personal documents and the documents of the research team.
- Send the application by e-mail and submit in person the application at the INCT premises.

Applicants must gather the following documents:
- Duly completed and signed Research Project Template (Annex III).
- CV of the Principal Investigator;
- Copy of the ID card of the Principal Investigator;
- CV and copy of the Identity Card of the research team members.
